What Izetbegović's criticism of Šepić reveals: Parties are the safest and most profitable companies

State representative Senad Šepić was sharply criticized by SDA president Bakir Izetbegović, due to his harsh views on the party. Šepić believes that Bosniaks lost Srebrenica due to the SDA's poor policies. In Velika Kladuša, war criminal Fikret Abdić won the race for mayor.

- This is the worst result for the SDA in local elections, considering that in addition to Srebrenica, the SDA lost Bihać, Zenica, Vitez, Vareš, Kalesija, Lukavac, Maglaj, Visoko, Goražde, Bužim, Zavidovići... The SDA was beaten to the ground in Krajina – Šepić said after the Local Elections in BiH on October 2nd.

- They failed to retain even what the late president Sulejman Tihić and the then-SDA brought in the local elections of 2012... If we look at the country as a whole, and we should and must always do so, the SDA is no longer the strongest party in the country, but unfortunately, it is Dodik's SNSD – Šepić added.

Izetbegović told Šepić that he received everything from the SDA that he could not have received from any other party. First and foremost, a comfortable life and enormously high salaries. If the SDA is not good enough for him, he should find a better party. In any case, he shouldn't talk too much.

- When a young man at 35 achieves such comfort, such an apartment, such a social position, such a salary, such an opportunity to travel the world, such an opportunity to say whatever he wants, he starts making such claims and saying that a better SDA is needed, then for him, there will never be a better party that will provide him with this. At his 35 years of age, he lives in this center of Bosnia and Herzegovina where he came from, better than the best defenders of the country, academics, writers, winners of awards for film and directing, athletes... And this party is not good enough for him, he needs a better one, and he will probably look for a better one – Izetbegović concluded.

Izetbegović publicly admitted everything that citizens in the country have known for a long time. He revealed a kind of public secret. Izetbegović's message to Šepić can be interpreted as the matrix by which the SDA, as well as most other political parties in the country, operates. The party is a company and works exclusively for the interests of its members. Members just need to be quiet.

If Šepić had wanted to be quiet, he could have profited even more.

If the party provided Šepić with a comfortable life, other members are not struggling either. High-ranking ones have more than they need. Lower-ranking ones have just enough.

Those who are not party members do not even have enough for a normal life. Political suitability, not professional competence, is important.

In his message to Šepić, Izetbegović revealed that he is aware of such a policy within the party. It was just kept silent until now. It would have remained silent if Šepić had not challenged Izetbegović.

According to initial reactions on social networks, voters did not understand Izetbegović's message in the right way. The public is divided into those who support Šepić and those who are with Izetbegović. A politician who works and should be paid. No one has yet spoken about the matrix that favors party members over professionals.

Citizens should punish such policies. Such a way of managing the country cannot bring prosperity.

Reforms require professionals, not those who are politically suitable.
