What makes Canadians unhappy in life?

(Patria) - We often hear that Canada is a promised land, that life is good there, and that everything is nice and fine.

However, there are dissatisfied people even there, so a Reddit user asked - what's wrong with life in Canada, writes Punkufer.hr.

There were all sorts of answers, and we bring you the 10 most interesting ones from Buzzfeed:

1. Huge distances. It is literally cheaper to fly to Europe than to many other places in Canada;

2. Winters range from harsh to incredibly brutal, depending on where you live. Given the cold and snow, the days are also shorter;

3. Insanely high cost of living. Rents are high, houses are unaffordable, mobile phone subscriptions, dairy products, as well as alcoholic beverages, especially in bars, are also expensive;

4. You absolutely need a car. Unless your life is extremely limited in terms of travel and you never leave your city except by train (this is only if you live in the east). In some cities, you can't really rely on bus transportation either;

5. Our roads and infrastructure are very bad. I'm not talking about repairs here, but about design, and I think they have a similar problem in the USA;

6. Living in close proximity to the USA means that American media often dominate Canadian media. Canadians often pay more attention to American elections than their own;
