What did Putin talk about with Nikolić while they were riding in a limousine?

“Even from a distance, I feel spontaneous sympathy radiating from the Serbian people towards my country and people, that they love and respect Russia. Tomislav, whenever you have a new idea, write to me, I will take care of it. I respect Serbia, which has its own positions and does not succumb to pressure,” Russian President Vladimir Putin told his Serbian counterpart Tomislav Nikolić during a closed-door meeting at the Palace of Serbia, according to Serbian media, reports the BiH news agency Patria. 

During the conversation, Putin also commented on the “too hostile” attitude of the USA towards Russia, saying that he finds it difficult to understand how “serious politics can be built on such a tone”, and expressed hope that the USA will also understand this. 

Upon landing in Belgrade, Putin spent the first 15 minutes of his visit with Nikolić in a limousine that drove them to the Cemetery of the Liberators of Belgrade, and the conversation was relaxed.

Nikolić addressed Putin in Russian, even though there was an interpreter in the limousine.
