SERBIA: Both pilots killed in crashed military aircraft

SERBIA, (Patria) - A "mig 21" aircraft of the Serbian Army crashed this morning around 9:00 AM in the area of the village of Brasina near Mali Zvornik. The Ministry of Defence states that the aircraft crashed during the execution of a regular flight mission. Both pilots were killed, the Ministry confirmed. A local resident in whose yard the aircraft fell was injured.

Two pilots of the Air Force and Air Defence of the Serbian Army were killed, and their names will be announced later after their families have been notified. 

The Ministry of Defence announced that the Mig 21 aircraft that crashed was inspected before takeoff in accordance with all procedures, and after the inspection, it was determined to be operational and ready for flight.
