Serbia restricts export of basic foodstuffs

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Serbian government decided today to temporarily restrict the export of basic agricultural and food products essential for the population, so in a certain period, the monthly export of wheat grain, wheat flour, corn and feed, and sunflower oil will be quantitatively limited.

The government made such a decision in order to successfully respond to the danger of market disruptions caused by a significant increase in demand on the world and domestic markets.

The government also adopted a Decision today to pay one-time aid in the net amount of 10,000 dinars to employees in primary and secondary schools, higher education institutions, as well as student and pupil standard institutions, for which 1,600,000,000 dinars have been provided in the state treasury for all levels of education.

One-time financial assistance in the same amount will also be paid by government decision to employees in institutes, innovation centers, and researchers employed in higher education institutions.
