Shame of Serbia, four years after the murder of Oliver Ivanović, the perpetrators and masterminds remain unknown

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The leader of the Citizens' Initiative "Freedom, Democracy, Justice" Oliver Ivanović was killed on this day four years ago and it has still not been determined who the masterminds and perpetrators of that crime are.

Oliver Ivanović was killed on January 16, 2018, with six shots in the back, in front of the premises of his party in North Mitrovica.

The anniversary of the murder of Oliver Ivanović will be marked with commemorations and paying respects in Belgrade and Kosovska Mitrovica, at the place where Ivanović was killed.

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić lit a candle at the Temple of Saint Sava at 8:15 AM in memory of Ivanović. Together with Vučić, candles in memory of Ivanović were also lit by his common-law wife Milena Popović, Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabić, and the head of the government's Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petković.

The opposition is organizing a protest march at noon in Belgrade from Andrićev Venac to the Church of Saint Mark.

The Citizens' Initiative SDP will mark the fourth anniversary of the murder of Oliver Ivanović today at 10 AM with a commemoration and candle lighting at the site of the murder.

At the same location, at 8:15 AM, friends and comrades of Oliver Ivanović gathered, who via social networks called on citizens to gather in as large a number as possible and light candles.
