Sprind donates bread to soup kitchens for Independence Day

Sarajevo food industry Sprind today donated bread to users of Soup Kitchens in Sarajevo, Visoko and Zenica, reports the Patria agency.

- In this way, with a donation for the most socially vulnerable, we continue to help with the hope that in the future there will be fewer and fewer users who will need the help of soup kitchens. One way to develop domestic production is to strengthen economic patriotism, so that we can all contribute together to opening new jobs and strengthening citizens' standards, according to the company Sprind.

Sprind d.d. Sarajevo is among the bakery industries with the longest tradition in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The company has state-of-the-art equipment for the production of all types of bread and pastries, semi-finished deep-frozen dishes based on puff and yeast dough, phyllo dough, pies, sandwiches and confectionery products.

Sprind produces 6,000 tons of food annually and employs more than 150 workers, making it one of the largest food producers in BiH. Since 2014, Sprind d.d. Sarajevo has been operating within the AS GROUP.
