Memorial for murdered Bosniaks of Kiseljak

A memorial for murdered Bosniaks in the Kiseljak area will soon commemorate one of the bloodiest crimes in this municipality during the bloody conflicts from 1992 to 1995, writes the BH News Agency Patria (NAP).

Between June 13 and 16, 1993, HVO units (Maturice and Apostoli) under the command of Ivica Rajić killed 78 Bosniaks in Tulica Grahovci, Han Ploča, and Radanovići, of whom 36 are still missing, including the then-imam of this mosque community, Omer ef. Drkić.

Surviving Bosniaks from these places were taken to camps and subsequently expelled from their properties.

The memorial for the murdered Bosniaks in Han Ploča will be completed by mid-June next year, when the anniversary of the committed crime is also marked, NAP reports.
