Dino Merlin showed and proved last night in Linz why he is the biggest Balkan star. Around midnight, after almost two and a half hours of non-stop euphoria and three encores, the historic concert of the "Magician" in the second largest hall in Austria - TipsArena in Linz, ended, reports the Patria News Agency.
Dino Merlin is the only star from the Balkans to have performed in this iconic hall, which has hosted world-renowned artists such as Whitney Houston, Joe Cocker, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Robbie Williams, among others. After a record-breaking concert in December last year at the grand hall Pyramide in Vienna, the concert in Linz was the singer's second performance in Austria as part of the ongoing Hotel Nacional tour.
Several thousand visitors who came to the concert from Linz, Vienna, surrounding towns, and countries enjoyed from the first notes of the regional hit "Školjka" to the last song on the setlist, "Undo". In between, the Magician's new and old hits were performed, and the audience, composed of all generations, sang along to "Kad čovjek voli ženu", "Moja mala barbiko (ja sam na te navik’o)", "Umri prije smrti", "Moj je život Švicarska", as well as songs from the latest album "Sve do medalje", "Rane", "Ako izgovorim ljubav", "Sve dok te bude imalo", while the evergreen songs "Kad zamirišu jorgovani" and "Bosnom behar probeharao" were met with ovations and tears at the end of the concert.
The fact that this concert generated significant attention is evidenced by the fact that the Mayor of Linz, Klaus Luger, organized a formal reception and dinner for Dino Merlin, his management, and the concert organizers the evening before the concert, and on the day of the concert, the protocol continued with a tour of the world-famous modern art museum Lentos Art.
The Mayor of Linz also joined the Magician on stage and thanked and congratulated him on the true spectacle he presented to this Austrian city.
After Linz, Dino Merlin and his Hotel Nacional are coming to Sarajevo, where the culmination of the tour will take place at the largest stadium in Bosnia and Herzegovina - Koševo, on July 25, 2015, which is also the only concert Dino Merlin will hold this year in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
