Special Forces around RS Government: Police search buses carrying workers to protests

Buses carrying trade unionists and workers heading to protests in Banja Luka were stopped in Klašnice and thoroughly searched, reported trade unionists who were on the bus, according to the Patria News Agency.

According to the trade unionists, passenger lists were also requested. The buses were held in Klašnice for about half an hour before continuing their journey towards Banja Luka.

As announced, trade unionists and workers from all over Republika Srpska will arrive in Banja Luka today for protests scheduled due to the adoption of the new Labour Law.

Special forces teams have already been deployed in front of the RS Government building. 

-The protest gathering of the members of the Alliance of Trade Unions of Republika Srpska regarding the new labour law will begin at 2 PM in front of the Trade Union House in Banja Luka, after which the protest procession will head to the building of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, 50 meters from the entrance, announced the president of the alliance, Ranko Mišić.

Mišić claims that "there have never been so many pressures as before" and statements from all political parties regarding workers' protests, although, as she said, they were asked to distance themselves from trade union work, writes istinito.com.
