Spain sent Leopard tanks and other aid to Ukraine

(Patria) - Yesterday, a new shipment of Leopards, ambulances, armored vehicles, trucks, and various types of ammunition departed for Ukraine. This was announced by the press service of the Spanish Ministry of Defense.

"The remaining four Leopard 2A4 tanks promised by the Spanish government have already left Santander for Poland," the report states. Two days ago, a Polish hospital sent by Spain arrived in Poland, it is added.

"On July 24, a ship with military and humanitarian supplies for Ukraine left the port of Santander. All the material is expected to be delivered to the Ukrainian armed forces in early August. Specifically, the material sent by Spain consists of four Leopard 2A4 tanks promised by the Government, which will be added to the six Leopard 2 tanks of the same characteristics, which have already been delivered to the Government of Ukraine," the Spanish Ministry of Defense announced.

"The delivery also includes ten M-113 armored vehicles (three of them for the Border Guard), 10 naval trucks (five of which will be delivered to the Border Guard and five to the Armed Forces), a multi-purpose armored vehicle (for the Border Guard), three civilian ambulances, and a BMR ambulance (an armored vehicle of Spanish production) and a civilian hospital, as well as a civilian armored vehicle (for border guards)," it is stated.
