Spahović confesses to murder of Geco, will receive 7.5 years in prison

MMA fighter Tomislav Spahović has pleaded guilty to the murder of Amil Geco and will be sentenced to 7.5 years in prison. The Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office has approved the plea agreement, and the court will consider it on October 10, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The indictment against Spahović was filed on July 22, as well as against Arlis Nišić on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of grievous bodily harm and the criminal offense of illegal possession of weapons or explosive materials.

On April 22, 2016, in Nusreta Prohića Street, Buča Potok neighborhood, Sarajevo, Spahović committed the criminal offense of murder by firing five shots at the vehicle in which A.G. was located, resulting in his death on April 23, 2016, due to the injuries sustained.

By the same indictment, Arlis Nišić is charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm on H.Š., as well as with illegal procurement and possession of weapons.
