Spahić with King Arthur's magic sword called for the construction of a concert hall in Sarajevo

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Walter Fencing Club performed a show today at Skenderija, near the Walter monument, as part of the campaign for the construction of a Concert Hall in Sarajevo.

At the location purchased by the KS Development Institute for the Sarajevo Concert Hall, near the "Stećak" sculpture, the art director of the GRAD Festival and initiator of the Sarajevo Concert Hall construction, Ibrahim Spahić, pulled King Arthur's magic sword from a stone and called on all competent institutions to, in accordance with the valid Regulatory Plan for Quadrant 6 from 1998 and the KS Spatial Plan, activate and begin the realization process of the project by the URBAN FUTURA group, which won an international competition and received the First Prize by decision of the jury chaired by the world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid, announced the Sarajevo Winter Festival.

Based on the Agreement between the City of Rome and the Canton of Sarajevo, they received the right to realize their project.

Spahić also announced the Sarajevo 2021 Culture Olympiad.

The director of the Grad Festival awarded the title of "Knight of Art of King ARTHUR" to the members of the Walter FC in honor of the 830th anniversary of the Charter of Ban Kulin.

Respecting the Sarajevo audience, Spahić, together with the Collegium Artisticum Gallery, extended the visiting period for all exhibitions organized by the Grad Festival and, once again, thanked the CA Gallery and all participants for the outstanding edition of the Grad Festival.
