Solidarity and sharing the burden is a sure recipe for overcoming the crisis as soon as possible

(Patria) - We sincerely congratulate all workers in Bosnia and Herzegovina on May 1st – International Workers' Day, states People and Justice Party.

"This year, we welcome Labour Day in particularly difficult circumstances caused by the coronavirus pandemic. We hope that by joining forces, we will succeed in overcoming this crisis, preserving our health and the health of our loved ones, and continuing to contribute to our communities. This holiday is another opportunity to remind ourselves of workers' solidarity, which is especially needed at a time when many around us are facing job loss or the threat of job loss. Solidarity and sharing the burden is a sure recipe for overcoming the crisis as soon as possible. We hope that the authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina will also act more quickly and effectively to protect workers who have always, even during the pandemic, shown that they are the most valuable potential of our homeland.

On this occasion, we also express special gratitude to the workers, from healthcare and police workers to workers in shops and other sectors, who have been on the front lines of the fight against the pandemic in recent weeks. Your dedication encourages us and gives us hope that we will welcome the next May 1st in a better atmosphere", states NIP.
