Softić in The Hague to Submit Request for Revision of the BiH vs. Serbia Verdict

Sakib Softić, the agent of Bosnia and Herzegovina before the International Court of Justice in The Hague, is staying in the Netherlands where he will submit an application, i.e., a request for revision of the BiH vs. Serbia genocide verdict in the coming days, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.
 
The BiH delegation also includes a member of the cabinet of Bakir Izetbegović, a member of the BiH Presidency. 

For tomorrow, the Chair of the BiH Presidency, Mladen Ivanić, has called an emergency session, and regardless of the outcome, the request for revision of the verdict will be submitted. Interestingly, numerous criticisms have been directed at the stance of the third member of the BiH Presidency, Dragan Čović, who stated that the revision of the verdict cannot be initiated in the name of BiH and that he and Ivanić conveyed this to Izetbegović.

Today, Ivanić is in Belgrade with the President of the RS, Milorad Dodik, where they will hold a meeting with the Prime Minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and the President of Serbia, Tomislav Nikolić, in order to take a position on further actions of officials in institutions, given that blockades have already begun with a boycott of the session of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, as well as the absence of three ministers from the Alliance for Change at the session of the BiH Council of Ministers.

The Court in The Hague issued a verdict in 2007 that Serbia is not responsible for genocide, but is guilty for failing to prevent it. We were given a 10-year period for revision of that verdict.
