(Patria) - A strong earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale hit Taiwan today, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) announced.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 15 kilometers, near the city of Douliu, EMSC added.
