With Zubac's dismissal, the Bobar bank investigation concluded: Chetniks's wife also arrested

In May last year, the Patria news agency wrote about Ana Mirosavljević, director and president of the Management Board of Bobar banka, which was liquidated in December 2014. At that time, all the bank's depositors were left in the dark, but the director's name was hardly mentioned in public.

In today's SIPA operation, as Patria unofficially learns, Ana Mirosavljević was also arrested. Her role, on the orders of the SNSD, was to hide information about Bobar banka from the public.

Ana Mirosavljević is the wife of the controversial and compromised Jovica Mirosavljević Chetniks, former commander of the SIPA Special Unit, who left this agency several months ago and settled in the OSCE Mission in Ukraine.

As a member of the Supervisory Board of RiTE Ugljevik, Ana Mirosavljević had the task of "watching the back" of Žika Krunić, otherwise the chairman of the Independent Board of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, which appoints the director of SIPA and a former director of RiTE Ugljevik.

From that position, Krunić successfully resisted the law for more than a year and refused to suspend Goran Zubac from the position of SIPA director (sentenced to one year in prison suspended for refusing to provide assistance during the burning of the BiH Presidency building on February 7, 2014).

Zubac, from his directorial position as commander of the SIPA Special Unit, protected Jovica Mirosavljević, thus closing a circle that for years had successfully siphoned millions of marks for the SNSD.

However, with Zubac's dismissal from the director's position and Chetniks's departure to Ukraine, the ground was cleared for the arrest of all those responsible in the Bobar banka affair. With the arrival of Perica Stanić as director, the investigation was conducted in a short time, and the result is today's arrests in Banja Luka and Bijeljina.
