Kulić dismissed, BOSS's Muhamed Ahmić appointed Director of Sarajevo Canton Health Center

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The newly appointed Management Board of the Public Institution Sarajevo Canton Health Center today dismissed Mehmed Kulić from the position of director (NBL), and appointed Muhamed Ahmić (BOSS) as the new director. 

The dismissal of Kulić was first requested by the president of SBB and the Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fahrudin Radončić, a few days ago, and yesterday he reiterated his request to the Sarajevo Canton Government led by Mario Nenadić.

Although Prime Minister Nenadić previously told Patria that the Sarajevo Canton Government would dismiss Kulić after the Sarajevo Canton Minister of Health submitted a request, the Sarajevo Canton Government nevertheless decided to dismiss the Management Board and appoint new members.
New acting members of the Management Board were appointed for three months: Abud Sarić, Milan Mandilović, Saša Mandić, Dinko Remić, and Aida Kikić.

This position was sought by Haris Pleho from BOSS, who is part of the assembly majority. 

It was announced from the Sarajevo Canton Government that the reason for this dismissal and appointment is the further improvement of primary healthcare services, which play a significant role in the time of intensive fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
