SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Law on the Budget of BiH Institutions and International Obligations for 2020 was published in the Official Gazette 46/20 of July 31. It entered into force today.
The Decision on calling and holding local elections 2020 in Mostar, planned for December 20, was also published in the same Official Gazette. In addition, the Instructions on deadlines and the order of electoral activities for the local elections in Mostar were published.
On Thursday evening, the OHR called for the BiH Budget to be published in the Official Gazette as soon as possible so that the necessary funds could be transferred to the Central Election Commission for the implementation of local elections.
Precisely because of the absence of a budget, the CEC had already postponed the elections to November 15.
Both houses of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly adopted the harmonized text of the BiH Budget for 2020 last week.
