MEMIĆ CASE: Prosecutor's Office of BiH seeks custody for Mutap and Dupovac

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Zijad Mutap and Hasan Dupovac, suspected of organized crime and obstruction of the investigation into the death of Dženan Memić, were questioned at the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

After questioning, the acting prosecutor will submit a proposal to the Court of BiH to order custody for both suspects.

The suspects were brought to the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina this morning, where they were questioned by the acting prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.

Custody will be sought for the reasons described in Article 132, points b) and d) of the Criminal Procedure Code of BiH, namely due to the danger that they might obstruct the investigation, conceal evidence, and influence witnesses or accomplices while at liberty, as well as due to the particular circumstances of the criminal offense which would cause unrest among citizens and the public if the suspects were at liberty.

The Prosecutor's Office of BiH continues its intensive investigation in this case with the aim of filing an indictment against the suspects.
