CASE OF DŽENAN MEMIĆ Two persons arrested, search also conducted at the home of Zija Mutap, father of Alisa Mutap

(Patria) - By order of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, searches are being carried out in the Sarajevo Canton area as part of a case involving organized crime and obstruction of the investigation into the death of Dženan Memić in February 2016.

As confirmed to Patria, two persons have been arrested so far, who are charged with criminal acts of organized crime related to abuse of position.

By order of the prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) are conducting searches at two locations in the Sarajevo Canton area with the aim of collecting evidence.

"Activities are being carried out as part of a case that the Prosecutor's Office of BiH has been working on for a longer period, and it relates to criminal acts of organized crime in connection with obstruction of the investigation and concealment of evidence regarding the death of Dženan Memić in February 2016," the state prosecutor's office announced.

As Patria learns, a search is being conducted at the home of Zija Mutap, father of Alisa Mutap, who was in the company of Dženan Memić on the night of February 8, 2016, when he sustained injuries from which he died on February 15. A search is also being conducted at the home of Hasan Dupovac, an employee of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton. In 2016, Dupovac was the head of the Traffic Department of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton.

The two of them have also been arrested.
