Slovenian companies in BiH employ around 15,000 workers

Members of the BiH Presidency Bakir Izetbegović, Mladen Ivanić and Dragan Čović are on an official visit to Slovenia today, where they will discuss improving cooperation between the two countries, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

Due to proximity and historical relations, Slovenia is one of the more important strategic partners of Bosnia and Herzegovina. According to rough estimates, around 15,000 people work in Slovenian companies operating in BiH.

Slovenian diplomats are an important support for BiH in the European Parliament, and former MEP Jelko Kacin is one of those most responsible for the adoption of the Resolution on Srebrenica, which the EP adopted in 2013.

Slovenia is among the ten EU countries to which BiH achieves its largest exports, and Slovenian tourists are also among the tourists who most frequently visit our country, writes Patria.
