Slovenian smuggled cocaine, then arrested in Sarajevo

(Patria) - Acting on a case by the BiH Prosecutor's Office in a coordinated action, police officers of the MUP of KS and MUP of RS, in the Sarajevo area, apprehended a person suspected of organized crime and unauthorized trafficking of narcotic drugs.

This concerns a suspect from the Republic of Slovenia, who is linked to the smuggling into Bosnia and Herzegovina of a seized quantity of the narcotic drug "cocaine" in the amount of approximately 1 kilogram, which was seized in the operation codenamed "Market" in the Banja Luka area, and whose value on the illegal drug market reaches 37-40 thousand euros.

The suspect will be handed over to the acting prosecutor within the legal deadline, who will make a decision on further activities after questioning the suspect.
