Sky App: Criminals Procured Encrypted Phone for Dritan, Prosecution Next

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - M portal yesterday published part of the correspondence of "members of one of the most notorious criminal clans in the Balkans" which they conducted on the Sky application, and which was decrypted by Europol. In it, participants identified by the codes GP6DY0, A0J9S0, 92TSA1, D16AD5, discuss how the current Prime Minister, then Deputy Prime Minister and coordinator of all security services, Dritan Abazović, allegedly asked for four encrypted phones to be procured for him through the then Secretary-General of the Government of Montenegro, Božo Milonjić.

The isolated correspondence, marked GP6DY0, as reported by M portal, began on December 30, 2020, at 4:15:55 PM and ended on the same day at 5:50:58 PM.

M portal announced that they will write in more detail today about the participants, who they claim are members of one of the most notorious criminal clans in the Balkans.

The conversation began when participant A0J9S0 informed at 4:15 PM that the then Deputy Prime Minister was requesting four encrypted phones. "Abazović is asking for 4 encrypted phones," he wrote, and 50 minutes later added that he was doing so "through Božo." The Božo mentioned is Božo Milonjić, then Secretary-General of the Government, a lawyer.

- They are writing to me now, one of the messages read. The same user sent another message clarifying that he meant "the lawyer." After that, he said "and that was," and then "asking how much 4 encrypted phones cost, they want to pay."

He also stated that the phones should be gifted to him (referring to Abazović), so that they would be "with the major, on subscription, so they don't go to the public figures in Podgorica," and then added that he wasn't responding because "there will be a conversation with Zoki."

Who "Zoki" is, is not yet known.

At 5:20 PM, the same participant sent a photo of the correspondence with Božo Milonjić, and was then answered by participant 92TSA1, who said "now it's action/on new devices."

Half an hour later, A0J9S0 replied, claiming that the phones should still be gifted, because they would pay for everything?!

- Well, they should be gifted / that they are with us / they will get phones tonight / they are paying for it all - he wrote.

At the time of the published conversation, Prime Minister Abazović was the Deputy Prime Minister and coordinator of all security services, and Milonjić, who is identified in this exchange as the intermediary for procuring four encrypted phones, held the position of Secretary-General in Zdravko Krivokapić's government.

Milonjić was officially dismissed from the position of Secretary-General of the Government on June 14, 2021, although he had parted ways with the then Prime Minister Krivokapić somewhat earlier, at the end of May, when Krivokapić refused to sign the so-called Fundamental Agreement during his visit to the Patriarchate of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Belgrade.

He was also the lawyer of the late Metropolitan of the Serbian Church, Amfilohije Radović, and was a strong advocate for signing an agreement with that religious community. After being dismissed from the position of Secretary-General, he was a candidate for the director of the Civil Aviation Agency, but withdrew that candidacy.

Although Abazović himself admitted at the parliamentary Security Committee that he uses an encrypted phone that he received as a gift, the story about it was first publicly raised by the Democratic Montenegro party at the beginning of May this year. Responding to questions from Democratic MP Momo Koprivica during the first Prime Minister's Hour, Abazović stated that he had an encrypted phone but found it complicated to use.

A few days later, the president of Democratic Montenegro, Aleksa Bečić, commented on this.

- Montenegro will learn in the coming period who the current Prime Minister has been communicating with and about via the Sky application, as well as whether there have been any interesting meetings and with whom. These will be interesting answers! I have always maintained that only people as pure as the sun can fight crime, because there can be no deals or collusion with crime; you must defeat it at every step and aim directly for the head - Bečić emphasized at the convention of the Municipal Organization of Democrats in Pljevlja.

The Democratic Party of Socialists reacted to the allegations published by M portal. They demanded an urgent response from the Special State Prosecutor's Office.

- We demand an urgent response from the SDT regarding the published correspondence which states that the former coordinator of security services, and current Prime Minister, used encrypted communication with members of an organized criminal group recognized internationally - wrote the head of the DPS parliamentary club, Danijel Živković.

His colleague, Predrag Bošković, assessed that this correspondence represents the biggest scandal in the past two years, although, as he said, there have been plenty of them.

He stated on Twitter that we will see if the law applies equally to everyone, and then reminded that one article in Vijesti was enough to open a case against the former Chief of the General Staff of the Army of Montenegro, Dragan Samardžić.

- Will the prosecution open an investigation into the fact that members of organized criminal groups are procuring encrypted phones for the current Prime Minister, and then Deputy Prime Minister and head of the Bureau for Operational Coordination of the Security Sector - Bošković asked.

DPS MP Jevto Eraković also commented.

- Encrypted phone procured from a member of a criminal clan? Sky application for communication. Is the codename: Untouchable for the prosecution? Let's see... - Eraković wrote.

The Secretary-General of the Social Democrats, Miloš Čelanović, ironically commented that the URA Civic Movement, after finishing their careers after the next elections, will be able to open a home appliance store.

- Someone will work in the television sector, someone in the mobile phone and decoding sector, and someone (from the media echelon) in the sector where irons are sold. Perhaps working in the ironing sector is the most demanding at the moment, because what we have had the opportunity to see and hear from high-ranking URA officials is so wrinkled (and dirty) that no iron helps. And as for the dirt, maybe someone got a washing machine, who knows - Čelanović said.

Although M portal published part of the correspondence early yesterday, Abazović only responded last night. He called on the Special State Prosecutor's Office to investigate the allegations from the communication published by M portal.

- I call on the SDT to investigate all the absurd accusations linked to my name, published by a quasi-portal acting as "Udar 2", tasked with conducting the dirtiest campaign against me in the coming period, similar to the one in August 2020 - Abazović said.

He believes that it is clear to everyone "from which kitchen this is coming and that the noose is tightening around criminal structures close to certain political groups within the DPS."

These structures, he said, aim to destabilize Montenegro in order to "preserve their financial power, but more importantly for them - to avoid justice." He also stated that he is available to state bodies for any clarifications.

- At the same time, I invite those who intend to "take my head" to hurry. Even if they succeed in their criminal intent, they will not stop the hand of justice. Everything is properly saved and stored where it should be. We look forward to everything that follows - Abazović threatened.
