Assembly of TK adopted the Budget for this year, candidate for prime minister is professor Kadrija Hodžić

TUZLA, (Patria) - The Assembly of TK today got a new leadership, with Slađan Ilić (SDP BiH) from the Serb people elected as the President. The Vice-Presidents are Vedrana Petrović (SDP) from the Croat people and Lejla Vuković (SBB) from the Bosniak people.

After the Government of TK fell with the resignation of Prime Minister Denijal Tulumović, the Assembly decided that the secretaries of the ministries would perform the duties.

The new majority consists of SDP, SBB, PDA, and Our Party, and independent representative Smajo Mandžić. The opposition includes SDA, SD BiH, DF, and the Party for BiH.

At today's session, after the appointment of the new parliamentary majority, the representatives also adopted the budget of Tuzla Canton for 2021.

The law on its execution, proposed by the former Government of Tuzla Canton, was also adopted.

The name of the candidate for prime minister of the new Government of TK is already known. It is Kadrija Hodžić, who will be nominated by SDP BiH next week. Hodžić is a full professor of Macroeconomics at the Faculty of Economics in Tuzla.
