KS Assembly supported the closure of betting shops

(Patria) - Democratic Front MP Sead Milavica, on behalf of the DF Club in the KS Assembly, proposed that, like catering facilities, betting shops also be closed, which was met with the approval of the MPs.

Given the epidemiological situation in Sarajevo Canton, stricter measures have been adopted, which include the closure of catering facilities, but many believe that gambling operators' facilities are also hotspots for infection, similar to cafes and restaurants.

Therefore, the DF has put forward a conclusion for adoption, which calls on the Government of Sarajevo Canton and the KS Crisis Staff to urgently close betting shops. 

The proposal was adopted in the evening at an extraordinary session of the KS Assembly.
