KS Assembly Urgently Considers KS Budget Rebalance

(Patria) - At the ninth urgent session being held today, the Sarajevo Canton Assembly will consider, under urgent procedure, the Proposal of the Decision on Amendments and Supplements to the KS Budget for 2020, as well as the Proposal of the Law on Amendments to the Law on Execution of the Budget for this year. At this session, under urgent procedure, the Proposal of the Law on Mitigating Negative Economic Consequences and Savings in the Sarajevo Canton will also be considered.

The session will be held online and will be broadcast live on TVSA. The Collegium of the Assembly also determined the agenda for the 25th working session of the Assembly, which will be held on May 18th this year, starting at 10:00 AM. The agenda for this session will include the Proposal of the Law on Amendments and Supplements to the Law on Supplementary Rights of Fighters-Defenders of BiH, and proposals for decisions on the appointment of two deputy public attorneys of the KS Public Attorney's Office.

The Mid-term Plan and Program for the maintenance, protection, reconstruction, and construction of public roads in the KS area for the period from 01.01.2020 to 31.12.2023 will also be considered at the session. Agenda items also include reports on the work of the Sarajevo Canton Civil Protection Administration, the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office, and the Public Complaints Committee for 2019, as well as the Report on the Work of the Independent Committee for the period September 2019 - February 2020.

Reports on the business operations for 2018 of JP “Televizija Kantona Sarajevo”, as well as the cantonal public utility companies “Rad”, “Sarajevogas”,
“Toplane”, “Park”, “Pokop”, “Vodovod i kanalizacija”, and “Tržnice-pijace” will be considered. The Assembly will also consider the reports on the work of seven cantonal public institutions in the field of social protection for the previous year.
