Rally in The Hague: Call to the International Criminal Court to investigate Israeli crimes in Gaza

(Patria) - A rally called the "Children's March" attracted demonstrators from various backgrounds, who gathered at the train station in The Hague to express concern and call for international action.

In solidarity with the people of Palestine, children and their families marched to the building of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, demanding justice and an investigation into Israeli crimes in Gaza.

The attendees chanted slogans such as "ICC, do your job", "Free Palestine", and "Urgent ceasefire".

Demonstrators carried banners with messages "Justice for murdered Palestinian children" and "Stop killing children".

Carrying Palestinian flags, numerous citizens conveyed that the ICC should fulfill its duty and focus on the issue of the crisis in Gaza.

Bilal Riani, president of the Endulus Foundation and one of the protest organizers, stated that what is happening in Gaza is not just a war but a genocide.

"The ICC must do its job and investigate the genocide. Those who constantly speak about the Ukraine case, only remain silent when it comes to Palestine," said Riani.

Larissa-Mae Hartkamp, a participant in the march, expressed concern about the Netherlands supplying Israel with F-35 aircraft parts, emphasizing that Israel should be considered the aggressor.

"We marched to the ICC because we want a ceasefire, for justice to be served, and for the ICC to do its job," said Hartkamp.

The International Criminal Court is an international court based in The Hague, established by the Rome Statute, which entered into force on July 1, 2002.
