(Patria) - This year's 8th International Competitive Waterfall Diving in Jajce will gather the best divers in the region. The dives are traditionally held on the second Saturday of August, and this year they will take place on August 12 at 5 PM.
Every year, this event attracts up to 30 divers competing for the prestigious trophy. This year's best diver title will be defended by Dino Bajrić from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Some of the world's best divers have participated in the Jajce Dives, including: Orlando Duque (Colombia), Laura Roze (USA), Christian Wurst (Germany), Jimmi B.N Andersen (Denmark), Borko Miladinović (Serbia), and the legendary Mostar diver Lorens Listo (BiH).
Last year, the Waterfall Dives received the prestigious award "Tourism Star of BiH" in the category of the best tourist event.
Dozens of media outlets, such as CNN, France Press, Bild, Reuters, Australian News, Chicago News, Washington Post, NYT, and numerous others, report on this attractive event every year. They promote Bosnia and Herzegovina and Jajce in a particularly attractive way.
The day after the dives, on August 13, a concert by Željko Bebek will be held.
