Škoda Octavia Scout on the BiH market by the end of the year

The new Škoda Octavia Scout will soon enter the production lines of the factory in Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic. Despite having more powerful engines, fuel consumption and emissions will be 20 percent lower. The new model from the increasingly popular car manufacturer could be available on the BiH market as early as the end of this year, announced Škoda, as reported by the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).

In typical Škoda style, this car model from the company also offers plenty of space, outstanding functionality, as well as the latest safety and comfort systems. The first Octavia Scout cars will be presented at the end of August 2014. 

The new Škoda Octavia Scout, the manufacturers announced, will be a true adventure vehicle for families and leisure time, performing equally well both in city driving and off-road. All-wheel drive based on an innovative Haldex coupling, powerful engines, greater ground clearance, larger approach and departure angles, towing capacity of up to two tonnes, and a package for poor roads make the latest Škoda model one of the most versatile vehicles in its class. 

The new Škoda Octavia Scout is exclusively based on the estate version of the Octavia.

The Škoda Octavia Scout has been part of Škoda's vehicle lineup since 2007. From then until the end of 2013, approximately 53,600 Octavia Scouts were delivered to customers worldwide. This represents about eight percent of all Octavias sold in that period, writes NAP.
