Scandalous statements by the Czech President: Refugees are idlers, spreading terrorism and diseases

Czech President Miloš Zeman fiercely attacked refugees arriving in Europe in large numbers. Zeman pointed out that accepting refugees from the Middle East and North Africa into the territory of the Czech Republic carries three major risks - the spread of infectious diseases, Islamic State terrorism, and the creation of new ghettos, reports N1, according to the Patria news agency.

The Czech President warned that along with refugees, Islamic State "cells", or their "sleeper agents", could enter the Czech Republic. In that case, Zeman believes, the possibility would arise for these terrorists to activate later to carry out attacks like those in London, Paris, or Madrid.

In addition, Czech President Zeman points out that, in his opinion, most refugees are economic migrants, not those fleeing the horrors of war. Zeman adds that such people do not want to work in the Czech Republic, but they can bring infectious diseases into the country, and he also emphasized the danger of creating ghettos.

"They will not be able to adapt due to cultural differences," Zeman told radio Frekvence 1, reports N1.

The Czech government is prepared to accept around 15,000 refugees in the next two years, and all others who are in the country illegally, as well as those who violate Czech laws, should be returned to their home countries, Zeman said.

In conclusion, the Czech President points out that refugees crossing through the Czech Republic will remain in the Czech Republic after Germany stops accepting them. Therefore, if it turns out that the protection of the European Union does not work, the Czech Republic will have to defend its borders itself, with the help of the police and the army, Zeman added.
