SCANDAL IN TUZLA FUP arrested a police officer who detained the prosecutor Begić's husband!

TUZLA, (Patria) - Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton were surprised when members of the FUP yesterday detained their colleague T.O. on suspicion of the criminal offense of abuse of office.

This police officer was detained shortly after he had stopped the husband of Mirzeta Begić, Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Tuzla Canton Prosecutor's Office, Mujaga Begić, during a routine check some time ago. During the check, public order and peace were disturbed, and Begić was deprived of his liberty!

“We are truly shocked. Three days after the event, they came to our premises and took away our colleague. He is still in custody today. He is charged with the criminal offense of abuse of office. Another colleague who was with him as a witness gave a statement,” we learned from the MUP TK.

Hasan Alić, president of the Police Union of MUP TK, said that they are considering the case and the situation and have not yet made a statement.

As we unofficially learn, Mujaga asked the police officers during the check, "do you know who I am". Members of the MUP TK who stopped the vehicle did not agree with such a story, so Mujaga Begić was eventually detained.

The police officer detained by members of the Federal Police Administration is considered an honest and exemplary police officer in the Tuzla Canton.

Admir Arnautović, spokesperson for the TK Prosecutor's Office, told Patria that this prosecutor's office will file a request with the Federal Prosecutor's Office to appoint a prosecutor's office that will handle the case.

“We are waiting for the FUP to submit the report on the commission of the criminal offense, and then we will submit a request to the Federal Prosecutor's Office to appoint a prosecutor's office that will handle the case,” said Arnautović.

Allegedly, the police officer will be charged with two criminal offenses: "abuse of office" and "unlawful deprivation of liberty".
