Presidency Session Continues Tomorrow: SDP's Candidate Still Unknown

The Social Democratic Party of BiH (SDP) today decided on its candidate for the BiH Presidency member at a session of the party's Presidency, but the session was not concluded and will continue tomorrow, writes the Patria News Agency.

Damir Mašić, a member of the SDP Presidency, confirmed this to Patria, saying that the session will continue in the morning.

- We will probably know the candidate's name tomorrow - Mašić said.

Given that the SDP Presidency session was not concluded, there were no conclusions. As we previously reported, it is expected that Denis Bećirović will receive support for the candidacy from the SDP, as a candidate for the Bosniak member of the Presidency.

This would be the first time in eight years that the SDP would nominate a Bosniak member of the Presidency, after nominating Željko Komšić as the Croatian member of the Presidency in the last two election processes.
