Session of the PFBiH: Budget on the Agenda, SDP and DF Seek Funds for Anti-Corruption and Development

The session of the House of Representatives of the PFBiH has begun in Sarajevo, reports a reporter from the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH is discussing today the Proposal of the FBiH Budget for 2016, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

According to the Government's proposal, the FBiH Budget for the next year amounts to more than 2.5 billion KM. More than one billion KM is to be spent on loan repayments, close to one billion KM will be spent on internal obligations, while only a smaller part of the budget is earmarked for development projects.

The Social Democratic Party (SDP BiH) demands from the Government to urgently secure funds from the budget for the implementation of the Law on Combating Corruption and Organized Crime in the FBiH.

The Democratic Front (DF) Club in the FBiH Parliament also submitted an amendment to the proposal of the FBiH Budget for 2016, requesting the abolition of the item Current Transfers to Individuals and the item Current Transfers to Non-Profit Organizations, and that the total funds of these items be redistributed to capital expenditures, i.e., development items in the budget, writes Patria.

Before the representatives in the Parliament today will also be the proposal of the FBiH Budget for 2016, the Proposal of the Law on the Execution of the FBiH Budget for 2016, the Proposal of the Law on Amendments to the Law on the Budget in the FBiH.

The representatives will also discuss the Proposal of the Decision on giving consent to the Financial Plan of the Health Insurance and Reinsurance Institute of the FBiH for 2016, the Financial Plan of the Solidarity Fund of the FBiH for 2016, and the Financial Plan of the Professional Service of the Health Insurance and Reinsurance Institute of the FBiH for 2016.

They will also consider the Proposal of the Decision on giving consent to the Financial Plan of the Federal Employment Institute for 2016 and estimates of the Plan for 2017 and 2018, and the Decision on the Execution of the Financial Plan of the Federal Employment Institute for 2016, as well as the Proposal of the Decision on giving consent to the Financial Plan of the Federal Pension and Disability Insurance Institute for 2016.

The representatives will also discuss the Proposal of the Financial Plan of FERK for 2016, reports NAP.
