SESSION END OF MONTH: No rush when it comes to health, but there was when the Government was being overthrown

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The Collegium of the KS Assembly, by the votes of the ruling majority (SDA, SBB, DF), today rejected the request of the opposition (NIP, Our Party, SDP BiH, NBL-independent representatives) for an urgent session of the KS Assembly to discuss the situation in the KS caused by the coronavirus.

Damir Nikšić, an independent representative, announced on his Facebook page that even Prime Minister Mario Nenadić was in favour of an urgent session.

The proposal of the President of the KS Assembly, Mirza Čelik, to hold the session at the end of the month, specifically on August 20, was adopted.

"So, there is no rush when it comes to the health of citizens and the pandemic, but there was when the Government was being overthrown," Nikšić wrote.

The representatives proposed only one item on the agenda: Information from the Ministry of Health, the Crisis Staff, and Civil Protection on measures taken and a proposal for measures to suppress the spread of the pandemic.
