United States War with Iran Costs One Billion Dollars Daily

(Patria) - The United States war with Iran costs about a billion dollars daily, according to an estimate by two congressional sources, writes MS NOW.

Given that the conflict began on February 28, the United States has spent at least five billion dollars so far, a figure first published by The Atlantic.

The preliminary Pentagon cost estimate of the war in Iran is $1 billion a day, a congressional official told me.

One of the sources says that daily costs are expected to decrease over time, as US forces fire fewer expensive interceptor missiles.

As an example, they cite missiles for the Patriot system, whose supplies are limited, and their price reaches up to three million dollars per unit.
