
(Patria) - Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), on August 21, 2025, deprived five persons, citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, of their liberty in the areas of Mostar and Visoko.
The deprivations of liberty were carried out based on an international warrant issued for extradition to the Republic of Italy due to suspicion of having committed criminal offenses of criminal association, armed robberies, aggravated robbery, infliction of bodily harm, and other criminal offenses punishable under the Criminal Code of the Republic of Italy.
After criminal processing, the persons were handed over to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina within the legal deadline for further jurisdiction.
During the implementation of the operation, cooperation was achieved with officers of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina – NCB Interpol Sarajevo and police officers of the Ministry of Interior of the Zenica-Doboj Canton.
The State Investigation and Protection Agency continues intensive activities within the framework of cooperation with partner institutions in the country and abroad.
