SIPA arrested a Lebanese national for whom Germany issued a warrant

Acting on an international warrant, police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) last night (October 29, 2015) arrested a person of Lebanese origin with initials B.C. (born 1984) in the city of Sarajevo, reports the Patria News Agency.

The mentioned person was the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by the competent authorities of the Federal Republic of Germany via Interpol, for arrest and extradition to the Federal Republic of Germany, on suspicion of committing several serious criminal offenses, including armed robbery.

The person with initials B.C. was handed over to the duty pre-trial judge of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina at approximately 11:30 PM on the same day for further proceedings related to extradition.
