SIPA arrested one person for war crimes

Acting on the order of the BiH Prosecutor's Office, police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) arrested one person this morning in the area of Velika Kladuša for war crimes, reports the Patria News Agency.

The person with initials V.B. (1970) was deprived of liberty due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed the criminal offense under Article 173, Paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code of BiH "War Crimes against the Civilian Population" and the criminal offense under Article 175, Paragraph (1) "War Crimes against Prisoners of War", in the area of the municipality of Bužim, all in connection with Article 180, Paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Criminal Code of BiH.

The arrested person was brought to the official premises of SIPA, where they will be processed by criminal investigators, after which they will be handed over to the BiH Prosecutor's Office for further proceedings.
