Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) this morning (April 15, 2015) arrested a person with initials K.K. (1976) in the Sarajevo area due to grounds for suspicion of committing a criminal offense related to terrorism.
The said person is suspected of participating in certain activities that can be linked to terrorism. This is Kenan Kršo, who allegedly stayed in the Syrian battlefield multiple times.
- Acting on the orders of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a search of the residential building used by the suspect was carried out with the aim of finding and temporarily seizing items that could serve as evidence in further proceedings. During the search, a firearm without proper documentation and other items were found and temporarily seized.
The arrested person was brought to the official premises of SIPA, where criminal processing will be carried out, after which, in accordance with the instructions of the acting prosecutor, a decision will be made regarding their further status - it was announced from SIPA.
