SIPA arrests Admir Hadžipašić for attempting to influence a witness

(Patria) - The State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) this morning deprived Hadžipašić of his liberty for attempting to influence a witness. Hadžipašić is a former federal representative and a high-ranking official in A-SDA, now NES. According to Patria's findings, it was through him that attempts were made to take control of the education sector.

"Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (hereinafter: SIPA) today (02.11.2021) as part of the continuation of the operational action 'PERO', in the area of Bihać, deprived one person of his liberty, due to reasonable suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of 'Organized Crime' under Article 342 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in connection with the criminal offenses of 'Abuse of Position or Authority' under Article 383 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 'Forgery of Documents' under Article 373 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 'Tax Evasion' under Article 273 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and 'Money Laundering' under Article 272 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina," SIPA stated.

The person deprived of liberty was taken to SIPA premises for criminal investigation, after which he will be handed over to the further jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of the Una-Sana Canton.

For the record, Admir Hadžipašić was previously arrested together with his associates for the criminal offense of organized crime, money laundering, tax evasion, accepting bribes, and forgery of documents. After that, a measure prohibiting him from approaching any witnesses of the Prosecutor's Office of the Una-Sana Canton was imposed on Hadžipašić.

Hadžipašić apparently disregarded the court ban and attempted to influence a witness of the USK Prosecutor's Office, which is why he was arrested and is currently being questioned at the prosecutor's office.
