SIPA arrested a fugitive in Zenica who had been hiding for over four years, an international warrant was also issued

(Patria) - State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) police officers arrested one person in the Zenica area yesterday (02/19/2026).

The person was arrested based on a warrant from the Municipal Court in Zenica for criminal prosecution for the criminal offenses of "Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs", "Grievous Bodily Harm", and "Concealment" prescribed by the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Based on operational intelligence, the mentioned person was located by SIPA police officers – FAST team, after which they were arrested.

There were four search warrants and one international warrant issued for the arrested person, and they had been on the run for over four years.

After criminal processing, the arrested person was handed over to the jurisdiction of the Municipal Court in Zenica.
