SIPA: Operational action 'Stršljen' underway

(Patria) - Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) today (27.8.2020) began an operational action codenamed "Stršljen" targeting the unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs. Searches of individuals, residential and business premises, and movable property are underway at a total of three locations in the Sarajevo Canton area.

These activities are being carried out due to grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offense of "Organized Crime" under Article 250 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in conjunction with Article 195 "Unauthorized Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs" of the same law. More information on the results of the operational action "Stršljen" will be known after the execution of the orders from the Court of BiH and the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.
