SIPA members today arrested 12 people in the Prijedor area for war crimes and searched four locations, SIPA announced, reports the BiH news agency Patria.
The arrests were carried out based on orders from the Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH. The arrested individuals are D.M. (1962), R.S. (1943), R.Č. (1958), Z.S. (1971), Ž.G. (1968), I.Z. (1972), Z.M. (1969), B.G. (1967), R.G. (1967), U.G. (1961), R.G. (1967), and R.G. (1960) due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of "crimes against humanity" under Article 172 of the Criminal Code of BiH in the Prijedor area during 1992.
The arrested individuals will be brought to the official premises of SIPA, where criminal processing will be carried out, after which they will be handed over to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH for further proceedings, the statement said.
