SIPA IN BIJELJINA: Raids due to human smuggling

(Patria) - Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency today (29 April 2025) launched an operational action "Istok Dil 2" in the area of Bijeljina, during which searches of residential and business premises are being conducted at several locations in connection with four suspects.

The operational action "Istok Dil 2" is being carried out by order of the Court and under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, due to reasonable suspicion that the criminal offenses of "Organized Crime" have been committed in connection with the criminal offenses of "Organizing a Group or Association for the Commission of the Criminal Offense of Migrant Smuggling" and "Human Smuggling" as prescribed by the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
