SIPA's "Rover" operation uncovers and temporarily seizes over ten kilograms of skunk

Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) yesterday (11.9.2017) carried out an operational action codenamed "Rover", aimed at suppressing the unauthorized trafficking of narcotic drugs, it was announced from SIPA, reports the Patria agency.

Three persons were deprived of liberty in the area of the municipality of Mostar due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of organized crime in connection with the criminal offense of unauthorized trafficking of narcotic drugs, and facilities in the area of Stolac and Ljubuški were searched.

During the search, another kilogram of herbaceous matter was discovered, which in appearance resembles the narcotic drug "skunk". Within the work on this case, more than ten kilograms of skunk have been discovered and temporarily seized so far.

Also, a rifle, a hand grenade, and other items that can serve as evidence in further proceedings were discovered.

After criminal processing, the persons deprived of liberty will be handed over to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH for further proceedings during the day.
