SIPA in "Mediator" operation searches multiple locations in FBiH and RS

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (hereinafter: SIPA) today (03/30/2022) within the operational action "Mediator" in the areas of Sarajevo, East Sarajevo, Visoko and Breza began searching residential and auxiliary buildings and movable property, at multiple locations.

The searches are being conducted with the aim of documenting criminal offenses of "Association for the Commission of Criminal Offenses", "Receiving Gifts or Other Forms of Benefit", "Giving Gifts or Other Forms of Benefit", "Giving Rewards or Other Forms of Benefit for Trading in Influence", "Forgery of Documents", "Obstruction of Evidence", "Abuse of Office or Authority", "Giving False Testimony" and "Forgery of Official Documents", as prescribed by the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The aforementioned activities are being carried out by orders of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton and in cooperation with police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, the Federal Police Administration, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Zenica-Doboj Canton, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Central Bosnia Canton and the Intelligence-Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
