SIPA claims Tadić was not wiretapped, Prosecutor's Office says they have evidence she was!?

Documents indicating the implementation of special investigative measures to monitor the movements of acting Chief Prosecutor Gordana Tadić, as well as transcripts of conversations between HJPC Vice-President Ružica Jukić and acting Chief Prosecutor Gordana Tadić, have been submitted to the BiH Prosecutor's Office, according to the BiH Prosecutor's Office, Patria writes.

- Given that the text of the conversations is authentic and that the mentioned communication took place, the BiH Prosecutor's Office will, within the scope of the case it is working on, conduct detailed checks of the legality of the implemented measures, as well as the individuals who participated in the mentioned activities – state the BiH Prosecutor's Office.

The State Investigation and Protection Agency claims the opposite.

- In order to objectively and truthfully inform the public, we inform you that acting Chief Prosecutor Gordana Tadić and HJPC Vice-President Ružica Jukić have never been the subject of SIPA's work, nor have special investigative measures been taken against them. Therefore, no documentation could have been prepared in this regard.

We also inform you that the Internal Control Department of SIPA conducted an internal inspection on August 29 and 30, 2017, during which no abuses were found by the competent organizational units of SIPA or individuals regarding the implementation of special investigative measures – state SIPA.

In addition to the above, the competent organizational units, SIPA notes, reviewed all outgoing acts of SIPA in 2017, during which no act or other documentation of a similar nature was found. Also, during 2017, no act marked with the classification "top secret" was registered.

- Since it has been established that SIPA never conducted special investigative measures in this specific case, as stated in the relevant report, and as reported by some media, nor was any act prepared in connection therewith, it is evident that this is a case of forged documentation. In this regard, SIPA, in cooperation with the competent prosecutor's office, will take the necessary measures and actions within its jurisdiction – SIPA adds.
