SIPA searches 18 locations, suspicion of tax evasion

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Acting on the orders of the Court and Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency, in an operational action codenamed "Kruna", on 15.07.2021 at 08:00 AM, began searches at 18 locations in the wider area of Bosnia and Herzegovina due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that the suspects committed the criminal offense of "Tax Evasion or Fraud" from Article 210, Paragraph (3) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The aforementioned activities are being carried out in cooperation with officials of the Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina and police officers of the locally competent Ministries of Internal Affairs, under the supervision and coordination of the acting prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Considering that the activities of the police officers are ongoing, the public will be informed about the details of the operational action later.
