SIPA arrested three people in the Una-Sana Canton area

(Patria) - Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) today (March 5, 2020) conducted an operation codenamed "Rubin" in the Una-Sana Canton area and arrested three individuals on suspicion of committing the criminal offense under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, "Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs".

Acting on the orders of the Cantonal Court in Bihać and the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of the Una-Sana Canton, SIPA police officers searched residential buildings, movable property, and individuals at four locations in Velika Kladuša and Cazin. During the search, they discovered and temporarily seized mobile phones, a scale, equipment for packaging and consuming narcotics, a certain amount of money, one DVR recorder, a hard drive, and approximately 150 grams of an unknown substance that, by its appearance and structure, resembles the narcotic drugs heroin and cocaine.

The arrested individuals will be handed over to the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of the Una-Sana Canton for further proceedings after criminal processing. The aforementioned activities were carried out in cooperation with police officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Una-Sana Canton and the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
